Jusuf Nurkić has quickly responded to Shaquille O’Neal calling him “soft,” as O’Neal addressed a report that Nurkić was pressing charges against Draymond Green after he struck a blow to his face in the Suns vs. Warriors matchup on Dec. 12.

“You’re going to ruin what I created in the big man alliance,” O’Neal said on his Podcast. “This is something I would tell you to your face if I saw you. You can’t press charges, you just gotta get your big a– up and hit somebody back. How about that? With your big soft a–.”

Nurkić said that this report was inaccurate and also added he would not fight Green.

“Lmao first I never said that!! People be making s— up lol,” Nurkić said on X. “Shaqilović I’m not from here, I’m not losing money and nobody fighting in this NBA…”

Nurkić had a memorable first reaction to the incident postgame after it happened.

“What’s going on with him, I don’t know,” Nurkić said. “Personally, I feel like that brother needs help. I’m glad he didn’t try to choke me.”

Green was suspended indefinitely for the hit, but has returned to the NBA as of a few days ago.

Since, there has been little talk about it from Nurkić’s side, but it has been an event that has been brought up several times because of Green’s history.
