This play was just one part of a much-needed dominating first half for Phoenix, who entered tonight having lost two straight and struggling mightily offensively.
Okogie finished the half with five points on 2-of-4 shooting in seven minutes off the bench. The Suns lead the Lakers 66-52 at halftime, led by Devin Booker’s 23 points. The most glaring stat is that Phoenix is shooting 50% from the floor and has three turnovers compared to nine for the Lakers.
Devin Booker leads all scorers with 23 along with four assists and two steals. Bradley Beal 11 points, four assists, four rebounds. Kevin Durant nine points and three rebounds.
No Lakers players in double figures yet. LeBron James with 8P/8A/6R.
