Conner Fights Through Injuries

Conner suffered a knee injury in Week 5 and headed to injured reserve, causing him to miss the next four games. He did not return until the team’s Week 10 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. He played in their last seven games and looked as sharp as ever in doing so.

The 28-year-old has suffered continuous injuries throughout his NFL career but has proven to be dominant when he’s on the field.

First 1,000-Yard Season

Conner finished the season with 208 rush attempts for 1,040 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. He also added 165 yards and two more touchdowns through the air. This was the first 1,000-yard rushing season of his seven-year NFL career.

Despite missing four and a half games, Conner still finished with the sixth-most rushing yards in the league. The Pittsburgh product is giving the Cardinals what they paid for.

The team signed Conner to a three-year, $21 million contract before the 2022 season, meaning he is under contract with Arizona for at least one more season.

While the Cardinals did win just four games this season, Conner has been one of their brightest spots and showed that the offense can run through him consistently in the future.
