Brown did more than just score, she also had five rebounds and four assists. This was her fifth game with 20 or more points this season.
In ASU’s previous game against Utah, Brown had 21 points. The Baltimore, Maryland native shot 9/21 from the floor and 2/5 from behind the three point line.
She has shown the ability to score against elite competition. Colorado came into today’s game ranked fifth in the nation.
So, scoring 35 against them is no easy feat. ASU has a special player in Brown and now there is a need for someone else to step up.
Brown was the only player to score 13 or more points against Colorado. In their previous game against Utah, Brown had 21 points and no other player had more than nine.
ASU needs someone else to step up if they want to win games against the better teams in the Pac-12.
