Grappling with a few injuries, Suns’ head coach Frank Vogel confirmed that Bol Bol will see some on-court action against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Suns acquired Bol Bol this past offseason, since then, he has seen playing time in just 8 games. Almost all of the minutes that he has seen with Phoenix have been in the 4th quarter in games where the Suns hold a large enough lead to empty their bench.

But, at least according to Frank Vogel, there is a good chance that Bol Bol will see meaningful minutes on New Year’s Day against the Trail Blazers.

Already, Kevin Durant has been ruled out with right hamstring soreness. Ahead of tipoff, Vogel confirmed that this injury should not be too much of a concern.

Eric Gordon, Vogel announced, will be a gametime decision as he is dealing with right calf soreness.

Meanwhile, the Trail Blazers have a whopping nine players either ruled out or questionable. Notable names on this lengthy injury report include Deandre Ayton, Shaedon Sharpe, and Anfernee Simmons.

Tipoff will be at 7 PM inside the Footprint Center.
