Arizona State Adds To Transfer Class With New Mexico State Linebacker Keyshaun Elliott

Keyshaun Elliott, a linebacker from New Mexico State University, announced that he will be staying in the desert and going to Arizona State.

Elliot was the leading tackler for the Aggies last season. He combined for 111 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and one forced fumble. Elliot was named to the All C-USA Second Team for his efforts this past season. He also played in all 12 games his freshman year and record 27 tackles and a fumble recovery. Elliott was one of the biggest reasons why New Mexico State finished second in Conference USA.

The 6-3. 225 pound Junior was not highly recruited coming out of high school. He was a two star linebacker from Richmond, Missouri. He only had one power five offer to Kansas, but ultimately chose to play for New Mexico State.

Elliot still has two years of eligibility remaining for Brian Ward to work with on defense. He also continues an exceptional transfer class for Dillingham and his staff. He is the third linebacker to commit in the transfer portal. Elliot joins Jordan Crook from Arkansas and Zyrus Fiaseu from San Diego State. Both Elliot and Fiaseu were highly productive at their previous school, so Dillingham definitely had a mission to go after experience in the middle of the defense.
