Last night the (7-19) Portland Trailblazers upset the (14-13) Phoenix Suns, 109-104. Did my bets have a better outcome than the Suns did? Here are the results of the Devin Booker player props from last night’s game.

In my prediction article, I said to take the over. I was wrong as Booker only scored 26 points. It was not for a lack of trying as he put up 25 shots. Normally Booker would score 29 or more points on that volume of shots.
He went 11/25 from the floor and 1/5 from three. For the season Booker is shooting 47% from the field and 38% from three.
The long time Phoenix Sun also only shot 3/4 from the free throw line. This season he is shooting 90% on 8 free throw attempts per game. This was just a bad night. I would make this bet again.
Over/Under 2.5 Three Pointers
Going into the game the Portland Trailblazers were one of the best teams in the league at defending against the three. Portland only allowed 10.9 three pointers made per game. This is second best in the league.
This is why I said to take the under and I was correct. Booker only made one of this five three point attempts.
Over/Under 8.5 Assists
The three point defense of Portland caused concern on the over. A lot of Booker’s assists are on three point shots. So, because of that, it would be safer to take the under. I was correct on this one as well. Booker had seven assists in the game.
