Former Arizona State QB Jayden Daniels, now at LSU, was named a finalist for the Heisman Trophy. Not only that, but he is the odds-on favorite to win the Heisman trophy.

He is joined in the finalists by Oregon QB Bo Nix, who threw for 500 yards on the Sun Devils. Washington QB Michael Penix and Ohio State star Marvin Harrison Jr. were also finalists.

Daniels has had an amazing year for LSU. Daniels finished third in passing yards with 3,812, but he also was the top-ranked QB in rushing yards with 1134. That number was good enough to finish in the top 20 in rushing yards in college football. He tied with Bo Nix in passing TDs with 40 while adding ten rushing to go with that. It is one of the best QB seasons the game has ever seen.

Daniels’s departure from ASU was very controversial, with video surfacing of teammates trashing his locker after he announced.

The video shows players raiding Daniels’s locker at ASU and saying “he ain’t even good anyway.” Jayden Daniels definitely proved everyone wrong and is now expected to be a top NFL Draft pick.
