Last night, the (6-6) Phoenix Suns defeated the (4-8) Utah Jazz, 131-128. I made a few bets on that game and here are the results of those bets.

The Phoenix Suns were favored to win by 5.5 points and I thought this was a safe bet. I was incorrect as they only won by three points. Jordan Clarkson ruined this bet with a late three pointer to bring to score to 131-128.
Grayson Allen Over 2.5, Three Pointers Made
This was another bet that I just missed on as Grayson Allen went 2/4 from behind the three point line. I don’t feel bad about this pick. Allen didn’t shoot as much as he normally does. It was other players who benefited from the attention that Kevin Durant and Devin Booker got from Utah’s defense.
Devin Booker Over 6.5 Assists
This was my best pick of the night. Devin Booker finished the night with 15 assists which is his career high. Booker has really taken on the primary play-maker role and is thriving in it. The over/under won’t be set at 6.5 assists for long as he continues to prove his prowess as the lead guard.
Kevin Durant Over 27.5 Points
Kevin Durant is and has always been a walking bucket. 27.5 points felt low and I jumped on the over. I was correct to jump all over this bet. Durant finished the game with 38 points.
Drew Eubanks Over 4.5 Rebounds
This was a risky bet and it burned me. I thought that Drew Eubanks would see a good amount of minutes in this game and that would lead to him grabbing five or more rebounds. Eubanks did receive lots of playing time with 21 minutes but only grabbed four rebounds.
