Well, now we know why.

Glass announced today that he intends to redshirt for the rest of the year and then transfer from Arizona State. The Junior guard announced this in a message on X (formerly Twitter).

Glass started all 12 games for the Sun Devils last year and has started every game this year, besides last week. He’s been a crucial member of an O-Line ravaged by injuries. With Glass missing last week’s game, ASU only had six scholarship O-Lineman available for the game. Glass has been expected to lead this unit this season, and now he will not be doing that. It’s a major loss to Dillingham’s entire squad.

Sean Na’a a true freshman, replaced Glass in Utah Saturday and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
