Garcia has been a driving force in the Rangers offense this postseason.

Following an impressive regular season with 39 home runs, the 30-year-old has continued to torment opposing pitchers throughout October.

In 15 postseason games, Garcia has maintained a .323 batting average, smashed eight home runs, and driven in 22 runs.

This includes a walk-off home run in the 11th inning of Game 1 to give the Rangers an early series lead in the World Series.

While further details about Garcia’s injury remain unknown, Rangers’ manager Bruce Bochy did not express optimism about his star slugger’s chances of remaining on the World Series roster.

Bochy’s assessment was succinct: ‘Not great news.’

Stay tuned for further updates.
