It’s being reported that Murray could come off the PUP list (Physically Unable to Perform List) either this week or next week as he is close to live action.

Now this isn’t to say that he will be back on the field anytime soon. But this is a good indication that the Cardinals like where he is at since he injured his ACL in December of last season.

Murray is 25-31-1 in his career as a Cardinals quarterback and has thrown 84 and has rushed for 23 more on the ground. He was an MVP candidate dating back to the 2021-22 season when the Cardinals made the playoffs.

Since then, the Cardinals have gotten a new head coach and are rebuilding in a new direction which got people thinking if Murray will even be in the Cardinals’ plans next offseason.

With the Cardinals sitting at 1-5 and needing more of a spark and health on offense, it’s safe to say that Murray can play himself into continuing to be the Cardinals’ long-term answer at quarterback.
