The Cardinals will be Williams’ sixth different team in six years. One of these teams include the Kansas City Chiefs as he was won a Super Bowl with them back in 2020.
Notably, in the Super Bowl, Williams ran for 104 yards on 17 carriers, caught four passes for 29 yards, and scored two touchdowns- one on the ground and one through the air.Â
Altogether during this postseason run, Williams recorded six touchdowns in just three games.
However, Williams has struggled to secure a consistent role since then, with limited appearances in 2021 and 2022 with the Bears and Falcons, respectively.
Now, with the Cardinals boasting one of the league’s top run offenses this season, Williams will join the practice squad while Keaontay Ingram deals with a neck injury.
Stay tuned for further updates.
