Namath is a hall-of-fame quarterback for the Jets who is a Super Bowl champion, Super Bowl MVP, NFL comeback player of the year, AFL rookie of the year, All-Pro, and a Pro Bowl player.
During his time at Alabama, he won the national championship game in 1964 while having a record of 29-4 in his three seasons with the Crimson Tide.
It would’ve been interesting if Namath ended up going to Arizona State. It’s now looked at in the vault of what could’ve been in Arizona State history.
