The Texas Longhorns’ social media accounts showed off Durant, who is one of the best players in Longhorn history, getting some work in with his former team.

Durant also visited with Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian today.

In his lone season at Texas in 2006-07, Durant won the Wooden Award and many other awards labeling him the best college basketball player in the country. He averaged 25.8 points and 11.1 rebounds for the Longhorns before going No. 2 overall in the 2007 NBA Draft.

Last season, the Texas basketball team earned a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament and fell in the Elite 8 to Miami. The Longhorns finished 29-9 overall.
