Booker responded to Kyle Kuzma’s tweet of Team USA needing more defense with “I’ll do it.” This came after Team USA placed fourth in the World Cup this weekend.

Booker was reported to be seriously considering a commitment to the Olympic team yesterday. The report also mentioned Suns’ teammate Kevin Durant and several other stars.

During the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo, Booker played more of a glue guy role than his normal scoring role on the Suns. His play in his first Team USA tournament helped the country win a gold medal in Tokyo.

Booker’s 2021 Olympic Stats: 9.3 PPG | 3.2 RPG | 1.8 APG | 1.5 SPG | 0.3 BPG on 42.2/33.3/92.9 splits in 20.6 MPG (6 games)

Durant and Booker helped Team USA rebound from the 2019 FIBA finish in the 2021 Olympics. They could have another chance next year to help them do the same.

Could Booker show off his defensive skills once again and help Team USA win a gold medal in Paris?
