The Diamondbacks won this series 3-1, further solidifying their position ahead of Cincinnati in the NL Wild Card race.

With the six triples, the Diamondbacks’ season total is up to 36, a figure that ties them with the Kansas City Royals for the highest count in all of baseball.

August, in particular, proved to be a standout month for the D-backs as they recorded an impressive total of 10, topping the league in this category.

Leading the charge in the triples category is rookie sensation Corbin Carroll. Already, Carroll has picked up eight triples this year, which also leads the entire league.

To break the single-season record for the Diamondbacks, Carroll would have to scratch 10 more triples in September. The current record stands with D-backs legend Tony Womback, who recorded 14 back in 2000.
