Both squads are coming off a loss, Baltimore at the hands of the White Sox and Arizona to the Dodgers. Now I know every day is different in sports, anything can happen. On the other hand, giving up 10 to the White Sox is a little worse than giving up 7 to the Dodgers. The Diamondbacks did get shutout however, and the Orioles scored five. What I’m trying to get at here is I’m staying away from the money. Both teams are in minus money and it’s just too close to call.
You already know where we’re going now, NRFI. When there is a No Runs First Inning in plus money (+105), I spy can’t help myself. Maybe both pitchers are known for getting hit around a little, but that’s what is sweet about it. Vegas is trapping you at minus money on the over, let’s ride.
In Zach Davies last outing he went five innings giving up 1 run with 5 strikeouts. He faced a good hitting Reds team and navigated just fine through them. With that being said, I like his over on strikeouts. Over 3.5 strike outs at +115 is pretty sweet I won’t lie to you. I’m not confident enough to say Davies is going to mow the O’s down, they’re one of the best teams in baseball for a reason. I think pairing Davies over on strikeouts with his over on hits allowed (-155) is money. Pairing those two props together will win you $37.95 off of $10.
Offensively the Diamondbacks were in a bit of a struggle so we’re gonna go pretty cut and dry. Corbin Carroll over 0.5 stolen bases is +400. The guy swipers more bags than swiper himself, Carroll currently has 41 stolen bags on the year. Tommy Pham to get a hit is at -265, do what you want with that information.
