The Arizona State football team will be facing four teams this fall that were ranked in the preseason AP Top 25 poll released today.

All four teams ASU will play are in the top-15: USC (No. 6), Washington (No. 10), Utah (No. 14) and Oregon (No. 15).

Oregon State (No. 18) is the fifth Pac-12 school included in the poll in what will be the conference’s final season as we know it. The Sun Devils will not be playing the Beavers.

With these five teams, the Pac-12 has the third most teams by conference in the top 25 behind the SEC and Big Ten (six each).

The Sun Devils will be playing at home against USC on Sept. 23, away against Washington Oct. 21, away against Utah on Nov. 4 and at home against Oregon on Nov. 18.

There is good chance that their games against the Trojans, Huskies and Ducks will be their last for a while. They will have many more matchups with the Utes to  come over the years in the Big 12 starting in 2024.

The Sun Devils are projected to win four or five games by most sportsbooks.  They were picked to finish 10th in the Pac-12 football preseason media poll announced last month.

A lot of factors play into this, including having 50+ new players and a new coaching staff, but also how tough the team’s schedule is.

Sun Devil fans can get their first look at this year’s team in its first game on Aug. 31 against Southern Utah.
