With a valuation of $4.17 billion, the Cardinals find themselves ahead of only the Buccaneers, Bills, Lions, Jaguars, and Bengals in the rankings.

Out of these teams in the lower echelons, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers stand alone with their Super Bowl victory.

However, on the positive side, the Cardinals did grow 30% year over year. Despite finishing last season 4-13, Arizona joins one of ten teams that grew by 30% or more this year.

Comparatively, the Cardinals’ value has surged from $2.79 billion in 2021 to $4.17 billion today, indicating a promising trajectory.

This trend was mirrored across the entire NFL as the league collectively experienced upward momentum.

In addition to assessing NFL franchise valuations, Sportico has delved into the valuation figures of other major North American sporting leagues, including the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and MLS.

The NFL significantly outpaces other leagues, boasting an average team valuation of $5.14 billion. Second to the NFL is the NBA, which averages a valuation of $3 billion.

Overall, 16 of the 25 most valuable North American sports franchises can be found in the NFL.
