Ayton is originally from a place called Nassau, which is a town in the Bahamas and he has been there a lot this offseason training as well as giving back to his community.
Ayton took time to comment about what it means to be suited up for his country and how excited he is for the opportunity.

The Bahamas has never competed in the Olympics ever and the team is considered to be the strongest team ever in their history.
In order to qualify, the Bahamas will need to finish a three-game group phase with one of the top two records in their group while also winning the finals in Argentina.
They’re scheduled to play Argentina, Cuba, and Panama in a four-day span in hopes to qualify for the Fiba world cup.

Ayton and Gordon are hoping to make the country of the Bahamas proud in a couple of weeks as they’re looking to try and make their first-ever Olympic debut.
