After seeing some action as a starter in 10 games played last year for ASU, OL Emmit Bohle is ready to improve going into his final year.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The now 6-foot-6, 290-pound Bohle transferred to ASU from Division II Northern State prior to last season. He converted from tight end to offensive tackle after getting on campus and added 60 pounds onto his frame. He started every game across two years at left tackle for the Wolves.
Now, Bohle’s enduring another big change at ASU with a new coaching staff and scheme, yet he is still seeing some familiarity.
“I wouldn’t say there’s a whole lot of change,” Bohle said. “But each o-line coach is going to have his own little preferences he wants you to learn, so there’s some small changes but nothing big. A lot of the schemes and everything is similar.”
He is looking forward to everything Arizona State will run in their new offense.
“I really enjoy being one of those guys that can pull or get out in space and make a play,” Bohle said. “That’s something I really enjoy. Hopefully we run a lot of it this year, a lot of GT or tackle-involved stuff so I think it’ll be really good.”
