Brandon Pfaadt was on the mound for the D-backs and in his third-career start, he was excellent. Besides allowing a solo homer in the fourth inning, Pfaadt was practically unhittable through five innings.

This impressive start allowed the Diamondbacks struggling offense to remain neck and neck with the Giants. The D-backs had just three hits entering the bottom of the ninth while the game was tied at one apiece.

Christian Walker then drew a walk in the ninth which was all the Diamondbacks needed for a walk-off.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. drove a double in the gap to kick off the Sunday celebration.

With the 10-game homestand now wrapped up, the D-backs will embark on a nine-game road trip, starting with Oakland on Monday. First pitch against the Athletics is scheduled for 6:40PM.
