With the threat of going down 3-0 to Denver, the Suns got a much-needed bounce back win in their first home matchup of the series.

Phoenix held a consistent lead throughout the majority of the night, but, similar to the Clippers series, the Nuggets refused to go away.

Devin Booker was once again on a whole other level, shooting 20 of 25 for 47 points. Right behind him was Kevin Durant, who was a free throw short of 40 points.

The Suns’ duo combined for 71% of their points, and Devin Booker has the most points scored through the first eight games of the playoffs since Michael Jordan in 1990. Booker is averaging nearly 37 points per game so far.

Let the MVP chants begin.

But, there were still some negatives from the Suns’ crucial win.

One of which was Deandre Ayton, who finished with just four points and nine rebounds. Ayton played in less than 30 minutes due to foul trouble.

It’s hard to imagine how good this team would be if Ayton maxed out his abilities.

The Suns will have a chance to even up the series on Sunday at 5PM, once again in Phoenix.
