The Suns have put themselves in a deficit down 0-2 with the series now switched to Phoenix as they face the Nuggets tonight for Game 3 at the Footprint Center.

Game 2 didn’t go according to plan as they failed to steal a win in Denver by losing 97-87 in one of the most low-scoring games of the playoffs.

Both teams struggled to shoot the ball well in that game. However, the difference in the game was the Nuggets had the best player on the court and hit timely shots down the stretch.

Nikola Jokic dropped 39 points while grabbing 16 rebounds and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had 14 points on 5/6 shooting and knocked down 3 of his 4 made threes in the fourth quarter which sparked a 21-8 run.

Devin Booker had a good game with 35 points on 48% shooting but the team as a whole shot just 40% and only shot 19% from three while only attempting 5 free throws.

After the game, Devin Booker talked about how he’s going into tonight’s game with an embracing mentality as his team is down 0-2.

Head coach Monty Williams echoed the same sentiments during practice this week and that seems to be the theme going into these next two games as they look to try to get back in this series.

During practice yesterday, Jokic talked with the media and joked about how the Suns will approach game three tonight which is a sign that the Nuggets aren’t going to let up one bit.

Here are the odds and my prediction of how Game 3 will go down tonight.

Odds For Suns vs. Nuggets Game 3:

Against the spread: Suns are favored at -4

Over/Under: The over/under is set at 225

Moneyline: Denver’s moneyline is +152 while Phoenix’s is set at -179

Nikola Jokic Jokes About How The Suns Will Respond In Game 3

Prediction For Suns vs. Nuggets Game 3:

I got the Suns winning game 3 tonight to get their first win of the series by a final score of 110-101. I believe the Suns cover this game and get a monster performance from Kevin Durant and Cameron Payne.

With Chris Paul most likely out tonight, I expect Payne to give the Suns a much different pace and flow to the game. I’m also expecting Coach Williams to play the bench a little differently with Terrence Ross and T.J. Warren tonight. It could be a new-look Suns team which makes the difference in what we see tonight.
