After further evaluation, Chris Paul is considered day-to-day with a groin injury he suffered in Game 2 of the western conference semifinals.

Paul, who was originally expected to miss games 3-5, got a further evaluation and now his game three status is up in the air rather than automatically being ruled out according to the Phoenix Suns.

The Suns are down 2-0 in their series against the Nuggets after falling in Game 2 97-87. Shooting hasn’t been great from beyond the arc, but even worse is if the Suns lose their third-best player in a series they’re already struggling to get production outside of Devin Booker and Kevin Durant.

With this news, this at least leaves room for decent news that Paul could potentially come back sooner rather than later or miss no time at all, to begin with.

Chris Paul’s Injury Could Bring the End of an Era

Hopefully, with this news, Paul doesn’t miss anytime but with the slight chance he does, Cameron Payne is now a huge x-factor that needs to step up in order for the season to continue.
