Zac Gallen just received the honor of being named the MLB player of the week. Because of this he did an interview with MLB Network’s morning show MLB Central.

Gallen responded, “It’s a lot of fun”… he then continued that this is the closest team he has been a part of. He then finished the answer by stating “…It’s good vibes in the clubhouse… Guys are playing well, it is a fun bunch to be around”.

Gallen Still trying to knock the Rust off…
Through his first few starts, the D-backs ace stated that he was still trying to knock the rust off from the off-season. He said he felt good in Spring Training, yet he is still not 100% where he would like to be with his mechanics.
Him and his team of coaches are looking at the data and film carefully, getting him ready to hit his mid season stride. Zac Gallen has turned into a true gem on the mound for the Arizona Diamondbacks the last season and a half.
