As good as the D-Backs have been this season, they have been in-consistent. They have games where they score 11 and games where they struggle to put one run on the board.

D-Backs Struggle to Score

On Friday’s game, the series opener, Arizona only put up 1 run and gave up 5 in a loopy game to say the least. Today against the Marlins, the D-backs pitching held them to 3 runs on the game.

The problem, Diamondbacks only score 2 runs themselves. In the last 7 days specifically, as a team Arizona is batting .257/.307/.366 with an OPS of .673.

On the mound over the last 7 days, the Diamondbacks are 3-3 with an ERA of 4.15. Opposing teams have a combine batting average over those last 7 days of .254.
