The Phoenix Suns are in a good position with only 4 games left to go in the season. They’re currently the 4th seed and are riding a 5 game winning streak. They can make it 6 in a row tonight as well as clinch a playoff spot with a win vs the San Antonio Spurs tonight at Footprint Center.

What we know is they can no longer get 1-3 seeds but they can maintain the 4th seed. What has to happen in order for that to take place is a win tonight vs. the Spurs as well as a Pelicans loss against the Kings.
In order to wrap up no shorter than the fifth seed, they got to win tonight against the Spurs. And then in case an upset takes place tonight, the Suns can still clinch a playoff spot with a Warriors loss to the Thunder.
Basically, the Suns are in the drivers seat and has the ability to control their own destiny going into the playoffs this point forward and based off the way they’ve been playing, the Suns have more than what it takes to make that happen.
During practice today, Kevin Durant talked with the media to discuss the importance of getting home court and what that can do for a team but also the reality of what the playoff’s is all about.
