In less than an hour, the Phoenix Suns will host the Denver Nuggets at the Footprint Center in what was looking to be a marquee matchup between two of the best teams in the West.

Unfortunately, the Nuggets will not have 4 of their 5 starters tonight as Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Michael Porter Jr are all out with injuries. Michael Malone made it official before tonight’s game as they were all questionable.

As for the Suns, they’re fully healthy and are riding a three game winning streak. They’re peaking at the right time with playoffs right around the corner. This will be Durant’s second game at Footprint center and he’s hoping to bounce back after a 16 points 5-18 field goal performance.

Odds:

Against the Spread: Suns favored at -13.

Moneyline: Suns at -770 and the Nuggets at +600

Over/Under: It’s set at 224

Predictions:

I got the Suns winning tonight’s game by a final score of 117-99. The Suns just got too much fire power right now and are gelling at the right time. I expect Kevin Durant to bounce back and the bench to continue their stellar play with a lot the Nuggets starters out. With the Nuggets out 4 of their 5 starters and one of them being the MVP, it’s going to be tough for the Nuggets to hang with.

The Nuggets Are Coming into Tonight’s Game vs. Suns With A Lot of Questionable Players

I do have the Nuggets playing the Suns tough in the beginning of this game. But with playoffs around the corner and the Suns not having clinched yet, I see the Suns remaining focused and staying the course in trying to keep the 4th seed so they can have home court for the first round of the playoffs.
