The Arizona Cardinals are tied for dead last in the odds with the Houston Texans. Now that is a shocker, the Cardinals seemed to be a few steps ahead of the Texans as far as competing.

The odds on both teams according to Barstool Sports Book are +17500, or for the fraction lovers, 175/1.

Cardinals Super Bowl Odds…

Are the Cardinals Super Bowl odds accurate? Well yes, and no. The fact is that the Arizona Cardinals are a long ways a way from a Super Bowl.

Wait, are they? Arizona has just brought in a new General Manager, and a slew of new coaches including new head coach. After a season of dealing with one of the worse injury bugs in the league, they will look to get back healthy.

They already have who they are calling their “franchise” quarterback, which should put them ahead of some teams who are in a drastic panic at who will start under center come August.

However even with that, the team is ranked last in almost every ranking that has been released per NFL and other media outlets.

NFC West Odds

Even in their own division, the NFC West, which has been a gauntlet the last 3-4 seasons. The Cardinals are dead last and by a huge gap.

The other three teams in the division are all closely priced at pretty small odds, while the Cardinals have the longest odds to win the division in the entire league. They are more than double the odds placed on the second longest team. Las Vegas Raiders are the only other team over +1000 to win the division, the Raiders are +1100 or 11/1.

Then there are the Cardinals, doubling that number and leaving a tip. Arizona is +2500 or 25/1 to win the NFC West. While the favorites are the 49ers are -182. They are followed by the Seahawks at +325, and then the Rams at +450.

One thing is certain, the bookmakers do not think highly of the Arizona Cardinals.
