The 2023 season will mark the first full season in the Major League’s for the 22 year old lefty from Seattle. Carroll is still classified as a rookie this season, even though he played in 32 games last season.

Even as a rookie, Carroll has already inked a long term deal with the Diamondbacks, 8 years/111 million dollars. The contract is from 2023-2030, and Arizona has a team option for 2031.

The future of Diamondbacks baseball is here.

“The Fastest Man in Baseball”

Even if you know nothing about baseball and what all the numbers mean, watching him play feels natural. He runs the bases like a robot built specifically to run the bases.

The D-Backs still have one more game to play in spring training before opening the season on the road against the Los Angeles Dodgers on opening night, 03/30/23.

Carroll had an amazing spring training thus far and appears to already be in mid-season form.

2023 Spring Training Stats for Corbin Carroll include a .372 BA, .500 OBP, .628 SLG, and and OPS of 1.128. He has amassed 27 total bases in 43 at-bats to put the cherry on top.

He looks like a seasoned vet at the plate. Here are his 2023 Regular Season projections, according to baseball reference: .259 BA, .327 OBP, .444 SLG, .771 OPS.
