Suns fans it’s real. Kevin Durant is officially here in Phoenix, Arizona as he took part in his first practice as a member of the Phoenix Suns at the 5G Verizon Center earlier today.

Media members everywhere got to take a look at Durant’s first practice and he didn’t disappoint with his mid-range jumpers and length. He looks like he’s really close to returning to the floor and he will be re-evaluated after the all-star break according to head coach Monty Williams.
Coach Williams also understands the magnitude of what this trade has done for the Phoenix Suns organization around the country as they just got a top 5 player in the NBA mid-season. Williams said that he’s leaning on a life lesson that he took from Gregg Popovich many years ago.
“We know that we have a lot of work to do. For me, it’s just a step-by-step process. I got a text from coach Pop(Gregg Popovich) that just said don’t skip steps you know and that’s something that he taught us a long time ago and that’s something I’m going to lean on.”
It’s an exciting time to be a Suns fan with Kevin Durant in the Valley. Now it’s all about patience until he’s back on the court.
