Phoenix controlled the game from start to finish. Even without key players like Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton, the Suns maintained their hot streak and are now back above .500.

While there was a spread of contributions from a handful of players, Cameron Johnson shined the brightest.

In just his third game since returning from his knee injury, Johnson racked up 24 points on just 11 shots. From beyond the arc, Cam made six out of seven attempts.

Not to mention, the 26-year-old guard only played in 18 minutes as the Suns want to slowly bring him back to 100%.

Dario Saric also had a fantastic night from the three-point line, shooting 3/4 from beyond the arc. Saric tied a season high with 19 points, and he now has more than 10 points in back-to-back games for just the second time this season.

And lastly, the question has to be asked, is this team better without Deandre Ayton playing?

The Suns now hold a concerning yet impressive 8-1 record on nights where Ayton is completely out.

Next up for the Suns will be the Dallas Mavericks, who are coming to Phoenix at just the right time.

Get your popcorn ready for this Thursday night matchup, as it is always a classic when these two teams face off.
