The Arizona Cardinals have requested to interview Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn. The interview is scheduled to take place on Saturday.

Glenn has been the Lions’ defensive coordinator since 2021. The Lions’ defense could have been better. In 2021 they finished 29th in yards and 31st and points allowed. This season they were 32nd in yards allowed and 28th in points allowed. In Glenn’s defense, he has few talented players to work with on the defense.
Before joining the Lions, Glenn was the defensive back coach for the New Orleans Saints from 2016 to 2020. Also, he was the assistant defensive back coach for the Cleveland Browns for two seasons before coming to New Orleans.
Glenn played cornerback in the NFL for 15 seasons for the New York Jets, Houston Texans, Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Saints. The cornerback made three Pro Bowls, intercepted 41 passes, and has 102 passes defended.
