Tuesday, June 25th- Desiree Reed-Francois, the recently hired athletic director of the University of Arizona Wildcats, will take the mound. In February, Reed-Francois became the first full-time female AD in Arizona history. Among her achievements are her nomination for the 2024 Sports Business Journal AD of the Year and her designation as the NACDA’s 2023–24 Athletics Director of the Year.
Wednesday, June 26th- Boxing fans will be treated to a special appearance by Juan Francisco Estrada and Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez. The event precedes their highly anticipated fight for the WBC and Ring Magazine World Super-Flyweight titles, showcasing Estrada’s impressive 44-3 record and Rodriguez’s undefeated 19-0 standing.
Thursday, June 27th- Bringing a touch of rodeo flair, bull rider Chase Dougherty from PBR’s Arizona Ridge Riders will throw out the first pitch at 12:30 p.m. Dougherty will be participating in the upcoming Hondo Rodeo and Music Fest at Chase Field, scheduled for November 7-9, blending rodeo action with live music.
Sunday, June 30th- Sports enthusiast and Barstool Sports personality Frank the Tank will make his pitch at 1:00 p.m. He is known for his contributions to sportsencyclopedia.com and popular series like Tank Cooks and Frank Walks.
