Fans calling for Monty Williams’ job after brutal first half

Fans were pretty adamant on how they feel about Suns coach Monty Williams early on into Game 6, as the Suns are on the verge of another blowout loss at home to end their season.

The Suns trail Denver 81 (!) to 51 at halftime. They were unable to get anything going early on, as they allowed 44 points in the first quarter. This game is giving Suns’ fans flashbacks to Game 7 against Dallas last season, and it appears a similar result is incoming.

The energy was zapped out of the building quickly. Among a number of bad stats, the Suns have eight turnovers, meanwhile the Nuggets only have two. Fans booed the Suns as they went to halftime.

Devin Booker and Kevin Durant shot a combined 6-of-23, as the Suns started three players that are not regulars in the starting lineup. However, the star duo has been carrying the Suns the whole postseason until this game.

So the question is: Is this all to blame on Monty or should there be several changes coming the Suns’ way?
