If you watched the first half, you saw a Suns team playing fast but loose. The pace was electric, the shot-making crisp, and the turnover issue that had hurt the Suns was cleaned up. What Phoenix showed coming out of the locker room wasn’t luck or momentum; it was structural and intentional as they ended the half with only 5 turnovers while Sacramento had 10. The kind of correction that hints at a team developing playoff habits long before spring arrives. This wasn’t just a midseason adjustment; it was a proof of concept. A sign that the Suns can correct course, control pace, and force opponents into their style rather than react to theirs.

Devin Booker took ownership of the offense in the third quarter, not by scoring first, but by organizing first. His calm aggression set the tone as Phoenix would value every possession as it mattered. Booker ended the first half with 14 points and 3 assists. Dillon Brooks added his trademark edge and lockdown pressure, along with 13 points and. Jamaree Bouyea was making the most of his opportunity and looked solid for Phoenix, as his two-way contract for the Suns is proving to be a solid addition.
