For fans who grew up listening to games on the radio, McCoy wasn’t just a broadcaster. He was the connection between the team and the community, turning routine plays into unforgettable memories with his voice. McCoy’s tenure with the Suns stretched 51 years, a run nearly unmatched in professional sports. His signature catchphrases, delivered with energy and warmth, became part of the team’s culture.
