After a 0-0 draw last Saturday and a 9-13-8 record, Phoenix has made its way into the playoffs as the fifth seed.

Rising will face El Paso Locomotive FC in the first round, playing in Texas in a single-elimination match. While some fans won’t be able to attend in person, the club has announced a watch party for those who will be back home.

Fans can take Valley Metro to Tom’s Watch Bar, where they can catch the match with other excited supporters. While many may see the watch party as a typical one, it highlights how the club wants its fans, whether they make the road trip or stay home, to feel the energy of the playoffs.

While Phoenix has hosted several watch parties throughout the regular season, Saturday’s match is its most important yet. With the USL Championship growing in popularity every year, it’s imperative to engage as many fans as possible and help continue the league’s growth.

By allowing fans to be as close to the action as possible, Phoenix is preparing not only on the field but also off it, giving supporters an experience to match their hopeful playoff push.
