Arizona opened the season in Louisiana and played a nail-biter, with the game coming down to the final minutes of the fourth quarter. The Saints were down only one score and had the opportunity to tie it in a late-game surge.
However, New Orleans couldn’t score on its final drive as Arizona took the victory to start the year 1-0.

Baker had five solo tackles against the Saints, including one tackle for loss. He also broke a potential game-tying pass from the Saints’ quarterback Spencer Rattler to tight end Juwan Johnson to help preserve Arizona’s lead.
Wilson Sr. had four solo tackles, as Stills had two tackles of his own in the victory.
With a gritty win to start the year, the Cardinals have set the tone for what they hope will be a strong year for the team.
