Despite the short injury list, the Cardinals still have plenty of players out with Walter Nolen, Bilal Nichols and BJ Ojulari on the PUP list, while Hayden Conner, Christian Jones and Justin Jones on IR. The team will miss Nolen the most through the first four games, as the franchise will now suffer through back-to-back years without its first-round pick to start the season.
The status of all the injury players won’t be revealed until a couple days before Sunday’s game. However, if the Saints don’t have one of their top pass rushers in Young on the field, it would be a crushing loss for New Orleans in its season opener.
