Tomlinson on Campbell’s impact with Cardinals:

The veterans share war stories in the trenches and techniques to elevate their games to the next level. Campbell is an 17-year pro and is a six-time Pro Bowler, playing at an elite level for nearly two decades. In his age-38 season, Campbell record five sacks and 12 tackles for loss, illustrating that age hasn’t slowed him down.

Both players signed with the franchise this offseason and have raised the ceiling for the defense heading into 2025. Arizona’s defensive line was one of the worst pass rush in the league. However, adding Campbell, Tomlinson, and edge Josh Sweat this offseason will surely make the Cardinals defensive line one of the best in the NFL.

Campbell’s production isn’t the only reason that general manager Monti Ossenfort brought him to the Valley. The two-time All-Pro is the oldest defensive tackle in the NFL and possess knowledge and techniques that will help the development of Arizona’s young defensive linemen in Walter Nolen, Darius Robinson, and even with veterans like Tomlinson.
