Head coach Pa-Modou Kah said he takes Phoenix’s maturity and game management as takeaways from their previous encounter with San Antonio. However, every match is anything but the same as the last.
“That’s with all games that you play,” Kah said. “They’re playing today, so we’ll watch them today to get fresh ideas of what they’re doing. And then again, we review the game that we played against them, see the things that we could have improved from the game, taken into this game, and hopefully play to win again.”
Phoenix is eyeing another win against San Antonio and advancing in the Jägermeister Cup as they face each other this Saturday, April 26 at 7 p.m.
