A huge weakness that was analyzed throughout the season was the Suns’ defensive ability. Another mistake made clear from this postseason is that the Suns put too much emphasis on their star players rather than building solid foundations in their defensive and offensive lines, as well as chemistry within the team.
NBA insider Chris Haynes has stated that the Suns will now focus more on their defense and team connection when it comes to physical attributes on the court, rather than just relying on a few stars.
This shift could mark a new era for the Suns allowing for a much more successful 2025 season.
