TEMPE — After sweeping Utah this weekend on the road, the Arizona State Sun Devils reached the top 25 for the first time this season, sitting at 24th in the D1 Baseball Rankings.

ASU dominated its series against Utah, outscoring its opponent 34-14. The hot streak reflects in its record, going 19-9 this season and 7-2 against Big 12 opponents. ASU became the first Big 12 school to sweep a road conference this season, with series wins against Kansas and TCU as well.

Dominance at home has been the recipe for success, with a 13-5 record playing in the desert. However, if this last series has proven anything, it’s that this team doesn’t let a change of scenery falter its drive.

ASU now looks to make a bigger statement this weekend at home against another Big 12 opponent, as it faces Arizona for the Territorial Cup in a three-game series, starting on Friday, April 4, at Phoenix Municipal Stadium.
