PHOENIX — Phoenix Suns wing Grayson Allen spoke to the media following their 132-102 blowout loss to the defending champion Boston Celtics.
It was a Celtics 3-point barrage that did Phoenix in from the start. Budenholzer addressed what gameplan mistakes led to Boston taking advantage of a lackluster Suns defense all throughout the game.
Kevin Durant was seemingly the only bright spot for Phoenix, finishing with 30 points on astounding efficiency; 11-of-16 from the field and 3-of-4 from beyond the arc.
Phoenix ends its homestand with this loss and heads to Minnesota for a matchup against the Timberwolves. They sit 0.5 games behind the Sacramento Kings for the No. 9 seed and are tied for the 10th seed with the Dallas Mavericks.
