PHOENIX — Phoenix Suns coach Mike Budenholzer spoke to the media following their 123-112 win over the Eastern Conference’s top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers where Kevin Durant erupted for 42 points.
The 15-time All-Star finished with 42 points, six rebounds and eight assists on 17-of-29 shooting from the field to lead the Suns to their biggest win of the season.
Phoenix (34-37) starts 1-0 in its 10-game juggernaut stretch where it matches up against some of the league’s best teams. The next nine games, Phoenix will see Milwaukee and Boston twice, Oklahoma City, Houston, Minnesota and Golden State.
