PHOENIX — Phoenix Suns coach Mike Budenholzer spoke to the media after a deflating 116-98 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
T-wolves star Anthony Edwards erupted for 44 points (17 in 3rd quarter) and Donte DiVincenzo added 24 points off the bench, all from beyond the arc.
Phoenix scored 34 points in the first quarter and seemed to be on their way to a much-needed win. They followed that up with a 17-point second quarter and it went downhill from there. Kevin Durant led the team with 26 points on 10-of-23 shooting.
