The Phoenix Suns‘ 130-123 victory over the Washington Wizards was a perfect encapsulation of what this entire Suns season has been.

What was once a 24-point lead late in the third quarter was thrown away after the Wizards put together a 19-5 run over the last five minutes of the fourth quarter that brought Washington to within three points at one point.

Despite 37 points from Devin Booker, a 40-point final Wizards quarter squandered what otherwise would have been one of the best wins of Phoenix’s season. A spark from Grayson Allen (21 points off the bench) and rookie Ryan Dunn (career-high 18 points) was overshadowed by yet another display of unseriousness from the Suns.
